Mead Curriculum

Curriculum Vision

Mead Primary School is proud to be part of The Learning Federation where we believe that our curriculum should support our vision that no pupil’s educational success should be limited by their socio-economic background and that our children should be reading confidently by 6 so that they can access a rich curriculum. We also believe passionately in working closely with our local community. Our vision is the golden thread which runs through our curriculum and will provide our children with an exciting, rich curriculum that allows our children to thrive and find meaning and fulfilment in their school life.

Throughout our curriculum opportunities are sought to develop well rounded learners through our school Values. Our children are taught to recognise the need to be resilient and reflective, to take responsibility for their learning and show respect in all aspects of school life and beyond.

We ensure our children are able to reach their full potential through the delivery of an engaging and enriching curriculum that is designed to meet the individual needs of all learners. Each subject within our curriculum is designed to build on Knowledge and Skills whilst providing Enrichment opportunities that engage and inspire children to become life-long learners.
